What’s really awful about diabetes is that insulin and other supplies used to be dirt cheap. My late partner Lenny had diabetes. His insulin and test strips back in the 90s were not a major part of our family budget. We barely even thought about the expense. But in recent years, Big Pharma has shamelessly jacked up prices for no reason other than profiteering from a customer base that that faces a stark choice. Buy or die. In my opinion, most drug company executives are immoral criminals who need to go to prison.
