What's most astounding about this whole thing, I mean besides the fact that Rowling herself made the "doxxing" visible, is that she shows no awareness that her own activism has been leading directly to violence in the United Kingdom against trans people.

The TERF, "gender critical" ideology she has been amplifying has led to a wave of street violence that's getting worse and not better. I personally know two trans people in the United Kingdom who have been beaten in the streets for being trans, one more than once. Rowling and "gender critical" academics can pretend publicly all they want that their harsh positions have no practical consequences, but I can't believe they don't actually know better privately.

That makes Rowling's outrage here hypocritical at best. And the fact that her address is thoroughly publicly known already makes it in my eyes deliberately hypocritical.

She's stirring up hate again. Blatantly.

Look, real trans people in the United Kingdom are suffering real personal consequences because of her activism. The idea that activists shouldn't feel free to protest outside her house is absurd. It's nothing short of absurd, dishonest rhetoric.
