What’s even more outrageous than Trump’s blatant and obvious racism is the speed with which masses of ordinary Americans buy into it.

It’s not just troubling. It’s not just tragic. It’s downright existentially frightening.

It shakes me to the soul to see my country marching largely I step with a racist who routinely smashes humanity and common decency.
