What really strikes me, Katy Preen, as an outsider looking on with guidance from my British friend, Fred Shirley, is that the original popular referendum was so vague that people didn’t understand what they were voting for. The idea of a confirmatory public vote now that so many more more people grasp the details just seems like such an obvious necessity.
