What do you mean you wouldn’t make the change? Do you mean you believe in the foul doctrines most Christian churches teach with respect to LGBTQ people and sin? Does it mean that you think married LGBTQ people should not, in principle, be fully equal to cis/het people in church?

Because if that’s your position, understand you (in the hypothetical sense given I may misunderstand what you just wrote) are the exact Christian we hate so much.

People who brand us as sinner are loathsome monsters. There’s no compromise on that. If you cannot affirm that Christian doctrine branding me a sinner is wrong, then you don’t want to know the depths of my hatred of you. Trust me that it is deep and fiery.

I’d welcome clarification if I misunderstood, but if you believe I sin when I have sex, I’d suggest you walk away and never interact with me again. Because if you try defending that theological horseshit, I’ll rip you 50 new assholes.
