What are we going to debate? Whether billionaires should somehow be stopped (by government or something?) from giving away their money? I mean, I get it if people think the Gates are evil or whatever, but it’s awfully hard to suppose that their helping to pay for HIV treatment in Africa should be made illegal or be discouraged.

If their money suddenly stopped flowing, countless people would die.

Hard to get on board with that when we’re just now (pre-Covid, anyway) starting to see HIV incidence begin to seriously drop in Africa.
