What a sweet story!

You two would have been roughly the same age as my downstairs neighbor who was at about the same time occasionally holding hands in public with his boyfriend on 8th avenue in Chelsea.

In choosing New York City, you certainly knew what you were doing!

Every once in a while, I stopped with a friend for drinks at the Pierre. It was his favorite cocktail spot.

I never saw two young teenagers sitting there sipping Shirley Temples, but the thought amuses (and warms) me to no end.
