What a great article, Dan Foster. I addressed the same issue the other day from a different point of view, only touching Christian implications on the surface.

I wanted to answer people who were making free speech arguments and falsely equivalating rainbow imagery and this t-shirt.

In the course of writing, though, I observed that rainbow imagery is fundamentally tolerant and welcoming while the girl’s t-shirt is fundamentally a matter of condemnation and bullying.

I couldn’t help but observe that Christian principles stand fundamentally opposed to condemnation and bullying.

I didn’t dig much deeper than that, so I’m glad to see you treat the matter with the full attention it deserves from a Christian perspective.
