What a beautiful story. I can't help but I think about how the story itself is based on, is perhaps a celebration of, memory. You lovingly craft descriptions of your memories, of the scene and of Gregory. The story in a way is crystallized memory.

But the story is also about the loss of memory, and how that loss did not destroy love.

I find it all incredibly touching and memorable.
