We've traded high-level prisoners with Russia for decades. It's likely the Russian regime went hard on Brittany Griner so they could do a trade. Now some conservatives are flipping out, even though Republican administrations have never been shy about doing prisoner swaps with Russia.

Then along comes a Black lesbian athlete, and suddenly conservatives and official Republicans don't believe she's worth fighting for.
