We're fighting like hell in Michigan right now, because we have an old law on the books criminalizing abortion even in cases of rape and incest. The battle lines are pretty clear, with our Democratic governor and attorney general managing to get the courts to order the law not be enforced. The leaders of our Republican dominated legislature, however, are on the other side. They're demanding enforcement of a law that would demand a 10 y/o rape victim carry a pregnancy to term.

If it wasn't clear before that Republicans are monsters, it certainly is clear now.
