We're already doing this, especially in Texas. We're using technicalities to deny immigrants their legal right to apply for asylum. That's a violation of both domestic law and international law, but since both Democrats and Republicans are cool with it, that's the way it's going to be.

Biden is characterized in even the liberal press as "struggling" with the issue.

As to radicalization, you bet. The mass shooting in Texas that claims her whole lives the other day was committed by a guy with Nazi swastikas tattooed on his body. He was a member of extremist white supremacist groups, and had a track record of threatening LGBTQ people.

Much of his rhetoric matched, in substance if not in style, the rhetoric coming out of the Texas statehouse.

He apparently did the mall shooting because he wanted to help kick off "the Noble War," quite supremacist shorthand for a "purifying" race war.
