Well, while I agree with much of your analysis, I don’t think destroy is the mot juste.
It’s highly unlikely that Christianity is just going to evaporate or that entire Church structures are going to cease to exist. Reform is more likely and probably desirable.
LGBTQ people (and not just gay people) are ordained and consecrated as priests, pastors, ministers, deacons, etc in churches all over the United States and the rest of the world, literally every day. Same-sex couples get married in Christian churches, literally every day. Trans people living in their gender worship and lead worship in Christian churches, literally every day.
That’s the end game. That’s the road to love and affirmation.
