Well said! With the police in the United States being almost uniformly prejudiced against and even bigoted towards transgender people and other LGBTQ people, the idea that queer people should trust anything cops say is absurd.

There's a lot going on with this tragedy, there's a lot to be processed, and listening to what the police say about it cannot be helpful. They rarely tell the truth about queer people. This is not the time we should start believing them.
