Well said! The idea of the drag is inherently inappropriate for children rests on the idea of the drag must be highly sexual.

But of course it isn't.

Sometimes drag shows (for adults, of course) parody burlesque. Most often they don't.

You'd think the world is ending because somebody wants to stand up on a stage and lip sync to Cher.

And it goes without saying that reading picture books to children isn't sexual. Nor are flashy costumes and makeup. But I see you have one comment already stating flatly that drag queens in libraries teaching children is just wrong, because ... well, there is no because.

Illustrates your point, really, doesn't it?
