As Owen Jones of the Guardian wrote a few weeks ago, LGBTQ people are united AT LEAST by common opposition. People shouting "faggot" in the street don't care about our identity distinctions. They care that we are betraying gender norms.

Whether it's because a trans woman wears a dress or a cis gay man has sex with another man, it's much the same to them.
