Well, isn’t that special? Loving it!

I thought about making Alabama more the focus of the piece, but you know, PBS and company aren’t exactly out on the frontiers in queer rep for children’s TV, so I thought to focus more broadly.

I do wish I could have a few choice words with that director of programming, though. You shouldn’t be able to hold a top job with a PBS affiliate and spout homophobic nonsense the way he did.

He could have chosen to make the announcement very, very differently.
