Well if this isn’t cause for alarm, nothing is. The American people are increasingly and alarmingly insistent that we do something real about climate change.

Naturally, young people are the most insistent because they stand to suffer the most in their own lifetimes.

I voted for Biden because we had to get Trump out of the oval office. I am not a fan of Biden’s conservative views, not in the slightest. And this disgusting appointment is an excellent object lesson for why all of us need to be prepared to fight Biden as hard as we can to do the right thing when he doesn’t want to.

His instincts will always be to preserve the status quo and to protect the wealthy and privileged — regardless of his rhetoric to the contrary.
