Well, I wouldn’t generalize overly much about the students. According to a Colorado scholastics database, Valor has about 600 students. Roughly 50 of them protested. Of the remaining 550, we can’t know how many oppose anti-LGBTQ discrimination, but unfortunately based on the comments in the public document that I linked to, some students at Valor count among the worst offenders.

I don’t have a sense of how widespread anti-LGBTQ sentiment is in the student body, but given it’s encouraged and nurtured by faculty and staff, and given LGBTQ students report a lot of harassment, I’d have to suppose it’s fairly widespread.
