Well, I must admit that with most of my husband’s friends, I usually felt quite delighted to be admired and desired. Not gonna lie. lol

While many of them were entre deux ages, they were for the most part respectful in their admiration. And no, like your friend, I didn’t get tired of it either.

It’s perhaps a little difficult to describe the particular sort of attention that turned me off. It certainly wasn’t sexual attraction. I’m not a prude now and I certainly wasn’t then either. Less so then, if anything!

It was a creepy sort of darkness that I experienced from him that put me off. Perhaps objectification is the wrong word for it.

I would put it down to my own misunderstanding, except that Lenny apparently got the same sort of vibe I did.
