Well, except for those Catholic schools like Brebeuf Academy in Indianapolis that have stood up for LGBTQ faculty — which is more of a thing than many people realize. One of the reasons I wrote the article is that some liberal U.S. Catholics live in a bubble of acceptance (certainly not affirmation, but still …) that tends to obscure the larger realities of of the Church’s harsh anti-LGBTQ policies. I want liberal Catholics to get mad and fight back.

To those, like you, who already are angry, I realize I’m preaching to the choir to a large extent.
