Well, despite the fact that I recently wrote an article in which I referred to a person in their mid-thirties as a "young person," I enjoy what you're saying here about busting cycles of shame.

I was only 16 when I rejected the Christianity I was raised in, but I needed a good decade to purge the shame from my system, and I'm sure I still deal with vestiges to this day.
