We had some gorgeous light pillars occur naturally in Michigan just a couple weeks ago during a snow storm with very small icy flakes filling the air. Some people who took photos had them go viral, and new stations all over the state broadcast them because they were so beautiful. I’d never known about the phenomenon before, and now here you are writing about it again. Just goes to show, you don’t know what you don’t know!
When I lived in Montreal, I was very fortunate to live just steps away from a Metro station and work in an office just steps away from a different Metro station.
Car buried in snow? Not me; you’d find me sipping a lovely coffee or hot chocolate in the Underground City, thankful I had to spend no more time outdoors than the time it took me to duck into a station.
My buddy Ian, though, who lived in Dorval. Poor guy! He had that same gravel in the grass problem. And somehow in winter he always looked exhausted.
No wonder!
