Very well said! I’m kind of shocked Sullivan won’t sit down and shut up after so many people have pointed out that he’s just factually wrong.

But you know what? He’s making a ton of money on Substack, and publishing controversial ideas that piss queer people off has been his stock in trade since the days when those of us in Queer Nation and Act Up consistently told him to sit down and stop spouting bullshit.

For some reason, mainstream American media give him a lot of credit as a serious public thinker. They always have, probably as a reflection of elitist bias.

I hope the factually cracking tree limb he’s worked himself out onto this time will give media moguls pause.

But I’m not holding my breath.
