Very much so! Vague titles are my other pet peeve. When I'm reading Medium, I'm scrolling down a feed filled with hundreds and even thousands of stories. So often, and I mean so often every day, I see titles that are so nebulous that the story could be literally about anything.

Now, if that story is written by someone I know and like as a writer, I might read it anyway. But what are the odds that you're going to get good readership just because someone knows and likes you? Unless you've been on this platform for a really long time (and longer than my 6 years!) that's really not going to work.
