Very much so.

I occasionally post something vulnerable and personal when it applies to things I’m thinking about or doing at the time.

But I don’t make a general practice of being an open wound on the internet.

First, I think that would be totally exhausting. Second, I don’t think too many readers would care.

And as much as I write for myself, I never forget that I’m writing for readers. If they aren’t interested in what I have to say, then I think I’m defeating the purpose a little.

So every now and then I write something pretty vulnerable. But most of the time, I just try to write things that are interesting, informative, and important to the people who are likely to read.
