Very discouraging! I don’t follow YouTube much, but I can attest that my writing on LGBTQ activism and equality is often restricted on Facebook.

The social media giants seem to have a real problem with genuine equality. They love to pay lip service and wave the rainbow flag, but when it comes right down to it, they’ll suppress content from LGBTQ creators if they think it will help the bottom line.

Sometimes we forget that Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are businesses with bottom lines.

But they never forget.
