Twenty years! That makes me feel so old. Although, it was "only" 16 years ago that a librarian friend pushed a copy of the novel into my hands. I was at the library for a meeting, but he told me if I didn't check the book out, I'd be missing out on an incredible literary experience.

I now own my own copy, and sometimes I like to just read a random passage.

But it's hard to believe I've been doing that for 16 years. That day in the library feels like yesterday!
