Took a peek at Calvinist's Twitter profile. He seems highly focused on two issues. One, covid vaccines don't work. Two, the LGBTQ rainbow symbol is the mark of the beast.

That reminds me that a conspiracy-theory mindset is very prevalent today among conservative Christians and politically conservative people.

It's hard to crack that kind of thinking, because people who buy into conspiracy theories have already decided that evidence and reason are fooling most people, and that only an elect few know the truth.

Hm, I did not consciously intend to use the word "elect" as commentary on Calvinism, but I guess I could have.
