To all those outstanding examples of hypocrisy, add cheerleading.

Why?

A couple weeks ago, a group of profanity-spitting MAGA supporters showed up outside a Texas restaurant to shout "pedophile" and "groomer" at parents bringing their own kids to a family-friendly drag brunch.

The restaurant owner was just trying to promote his business, and he went to extraordinary lengths to inform the public that the drag entertainment would include no profanity, sexuality, or revealing clothing.

That didn't stop the MAGA crowd, a group of seemingly dimwitted but very angry men, many of whom wore football fan merch.

That inspired me to write an article about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and hypocrisy – about how many of the same men agonizing over children being sexualized have no problem taking their own children to football games to watch grown women undulate in crop tops and hot pants.

I included photos and videos of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders teaching little girls at cheerleading camps how to grind their hips and thrust their pelvises.

Still, I had somebody respond telling me drag queens are "clearly" an adult concept and cheerleaders are clearly not.

I think he was being sincere, but I can't understand his blind spot. I don't understand why he can't tell the difference between a cheerleader doing an intentionally sexually provocative dance and a drag queen lip syncing to Cher in a family-friendly environment.

Granted, one might question the musical taste. ;-) Gay men who do drag like some pretty questionable music. LOL

But, the hypocrisy is stunning. It really is.
