Timely article considering that Jordan was nominated for Speaker yesterday by his party caucus.

It's hard to believe that Republicans can simply ignore his history. Wrestlers and other students have been insisting for years that everyone knew that doctor was molesting athletes on the examining table.

Many former students have spoken up for many years to insist that Jordan knew all about the problem, just like everybody in the wrestling program (and other parts of the athletic department) knew all about the problem.

Jordan's only defense has been to call those students liars.

How ironic! The party preaching the critical importance of silencing queer people in order to protect our youth is set to elevate a man who helped enable a doctor who was an actual sex abuser.

I mean, I guess it would be one thing if Jordan had apologized for not taking action, had explained that he was very young, felt relatively powerless in his position in the university's athletic department, did not understand the severity of what was happening, or something like that.

Instead, he's just calling dozens of students liars.

Wow.
