This would all be just something to laugh about, I guess. Except that Evangelical and Pentecostal Christians in fairly large numbers are resisting vaccination and public safety measures against covid-19 in favor of relying on faith in God.

Stupid, superstitious, foolish nonsense.

But it's nothing new under the sun. I've been interacting with Evangelical Christians for just about all my 60 years of life, and many of them are stupid, superstitious, foolish people who take faith healing seriously, even if they don't actually abandon professional medical care.
