This wave of normalization of anti-transgender bigotry is frightening and depressing. I’ve been reading the Guardian for years as my news source of first choice in the mornings, because I had come to trust their journalism.

But what they’re doing on transgender issues is just awful. And if the Guardian is doing it, God help us all.
