This Stedfast statement probably crosses a red line for the vast majority of even right-wing Christians, so I'd be surprised if you got any really serious push back. It's not like Southern Baptist pastors, for example, would endorse calls for execution, even tacitly.

What worries me more is the radicalizing effect of fringe statements like this.

I wish conservative Christian leaders who don't agree with the statement (meaning most of them!) would spend time educating the public about what's so wrong with it.

Because those truck loads of armored "Christian soldiers" didn't spring out of nowhere.
