This reminds me that a few days ago, the Vatican began a meeting of senior church leaders to debate in part the future of women as leaders in the church.

Ironically, the meeting does not include any women. None. Zero.

A group of 10 Catholic women, lay and religious, stood outside the entrance to the meeting peacefully handing pamphlets out to those entering – politely objecting to the lack of women inside.

What did the Vatican do? They had the women arrested and taken to jail.
