This raises the question of what women will do in the case of rare complications. For example, I wonder if a woman living in Texas who got her hands on some of this medication outside the system would feel free to go to the emergency room or her doctor if she felt that complications were arising.

I also wonder if she might actually get in some sort of legal trouble if she did seek in-person medical attention.

Access to abortion medication outside the formal system is still clearly better than old school back-alley abortions, but the idea that a woman would have to be put in this situation is still outrageous.
