This isn’t about sexual orientation, it’s a about gender identity. There is no actual controversy among mental health and medical experts that young children do experience gender alignment that can differ from their birth sex.

But even if they were genuine controversy this book is about understanding and respecting children who do identify as transgender.

Which should not be controversial to any morally decent person anywhere on the planet.
