THIS is Trump's GOP. Racist jokes that would have shocked me when I was a child 50 years ago are uttered openly on the public stage today, to laughter and general glee.

Sure, 50 years ago in the United States racism was a plague. But you know what? Most people were at least embarrassed to be considered racists themselves.

It wasn't a laughing or joking matter.

But open, proud racism is back in fashion, thanks to Trump and his Republican Party.

What's really tragic about the whole thing is that I know very few Republicans who have the decency to give a shit.
