This is such a simple, provocative statement, but one that is so self evidently true. My late husband in New York City was a leftist American Jewish descendant of a family that was wiped out by the Holocaust.
I can’t count the number of hours I sat around the dining room table with him and his Jewish (and even Israeli) friends as they bitterly lamented the policies of the Israeli government.
I’m not saying they had solutions to the problems, but nor did they express any loyalty to a political system that seemed to be only feeding the fires.
