This is such a critical point. Hannity and Carlson routinely push such outrageous narratives, that it's hard to imagine they believe the majority of what they say.

So why do they say it? Money. Saying outrageous things makes them outrageously wealthy, and nobody at Fox is checking them.

Why would they? Outrageous narratives are making Fox executives outrageously wealthy too.
