This is some really sick stuff. Internal genital evaluations? For high school athletes? That parents can demand? Wow.

Can I just point out that one thing really telling about this is that one of the sponsors is worried about high school athletes losing out on gold medal elite opportunities.

What makes that telling is that almost no high school athletes ever go on to become elite athletes. That's not the point of high school athletics, and people who think it is need to sit back and regain some equilibrium and sense.

High school athletics are about learning to live a healthy lifestyle, how to play well on a team, how to make friends and get along.

Trans people deserve to do that as much as anyone else deserves to do it.
