This is really outrageous. It's the kind of subtle, quiet homophobia the permeates social media but operates undercover so people really can't see it happening.
I once thought to advertise some of my articles on Facebook and Twitter, but that's a complete no go. They won't touch the kinds of topics I write about with a 10-ft pole.
Note however, that Facebook is permeated with factually untrue advertisements from ambulance-chasing law firms telling people that HIV medication doesn't work and might harm their health.
Somehow those ads are okay but ads for articles calling out homophobic laws policies and regulations are not okay.
Facebook and Twitter both clearly are unacceptably sensitive to people who complain about queer content.
