This is IT, right here. This is what is IS to write.

My characters become so real to me, that I often mourn them when a story is over. I miss being with them. I may not always do a credible job bringing that life to the page, but even when I don’t, the story moves because my characters are real to me.

That’s why my heart starts to beat harder when I sit down to write a story.

It’s exciting!
