This is a really thoughtful response. I feel personally that because Marsha's contemporaries have reported that she lived as a woman 24/7 and seemed to have no male identity, it's fine to acknowledge her as a transgender woman who lived during a time that "gay" was often used as an umbrella term the way queer is today.

But being careful about that is sensitive and respectful, qualities it sounds like Sin goes out of her way to embody.
