This is a beautiful sentiment that could be extended to lots of people. Now that I've reached a certain age, I don't like to look in mirrors. I'm used to a certain image of myself in my head, and the old man who stares back at me from the bathroom mirror isn't that image.

Yet I know for a man my age, I'm not unattractive. But that fun house mirror likes to argue with me!
