This has been a recurrent problem on Medium for so so so so so so so so so so so so looooooong.

Claps on mobile often do not “stick,” the problem is not rare, and Medium seems either unwilling or completely unable to fix it. No matter what they do, the problem comes back again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

It is hugely frustrating, and so difficult to understand why they won’t definitively fix it and be done with it.

After all, I don’t know any other social media platform, literally ZERO other social media platforms, where a “like” or similar audience engagement often doesn’t work.

It boggles the mind that this has been going on for years and that Medium can’t or won’t do anything about it.
