There’s a whole lot of that going on all over the United States. Republicans are seeking to ban any discussion of CRT, but they aren’t stopping there. At the local school board level, they’re removing any books from libraries that frankly discuss race and the effects of racism in the United States. They’re also lashing out against books that frankly discuss LGBTQ issues women’s justice issues.

And, often, they are winning.

Spaces on many high school library shelves where those books used to be are empty now.

So much for the right opposing so-called cancel culture.
