There’s a lot we can do as non-Catholics, Peter. We can refuse to allow Church representatives to sit on our charitable boards. We can shun their clergy. We can bar their community groups from our festivals.

We can ban their sports teams from our leagues.

We have to get serious about not tolerating their savage doctrines. If they weren’t a religion, nobody would think twice about shunning them.

We must not allow them to use religion as an excuse for their savage teachings.

Nobody who goes along with teachings that I’m depraved is welcome in my home or the associations I participate in. Their children would not be welcome to associate with my children.

The Church is not going to stop its horrors until we start taking the horrors seriously.

Would we tolerate members of KKK in our neighborhoods? Of course not.

The Catholic Church is precisely morally equivalent to the KKK.
