The US war on Cuba is such a senseless Cold War relic. It's based on the false notion that the Cuban government is despotic and cruel to its own people. It's based on long-dead global paradigms.

The US partners and even allies with so many nations (like Saudi Arabia) that actually are despotic and cruel, that reach out and murder their own citizens abroad.

It's long past time we acknowledged the post Cold War Cuban reality.
