The tragic thing is that if not for the body cams, these monsters would still be on the job. Anybody who believes this is a one-off occurrence is engaged in delusional thinking. This is the culture. This is normal.
Sure, the union released a statement condemning the guards. But what do you think they would have done if the public couldn't have watched the gruesome details up close and personal?

I'm close to absolutely certain that they would not have, that they would have defended the guards as vigorously as possible.
